Another month down. Owen is getting so fast and loves moving around. His latest discovery is being able to open our lever handle doors. He also loves playing with the bidet so that combination will yield a lot of bathroom parties. I am considering putting a bell on the door to alert me of his crossing the no-go zone. He was able to meet Santa at the library and was not a fan. He was a bit grumpy that day so I was kinda expecting that. Given his love of going up to complete strangers wanting to be held I was surprised that he didn't go for Santa. Oh well, always next year to try. Surprisingly he left the tree alone. He would occasionally pull off an ornament but then would bring it over to me. We got the tree from the local nursery "viveros" that was wonderfully fresh. Unlike the trees sold on base that had a pile of needles already just from sitting in the store. He did love opening his presents from the grandparents. The wooden train, little trucks, xylophone, and new pots and pans are a big hit. And that's being a hit literally - banging them all on any surface possible. He continues to sleep really well. Especially since he has that lovely heated bed. Owen is a happy and loving little boy. Lets hope that he continues
The quiet book was a big hit!
Some 'cooking'
My effort to find a way to keep Owen warmer at night. He was not a fan. He has been very happy with the heater set to 68 and then his heat pad under the waterproof mattress cover. This thing was shipped from China. They were very nice when I requested a return to just keep the product and them give me a partial refund on my order. Since shipping would be so difficult with going over to China, the cost wouldn't be worth while for a full refund.
