This was our third cruise, but second with Costa. The Costa Favolosa was ordered in October 2007 and had its maiden voyage in July 2011. The design was based on the Concordia class already in service. The Favolosa can carry 3,800 passengers in 1,506 cabins and 1,100 crew members. This cruise was to see Scandinavia and its fjords. The fjords were by far my favorite part that we saw on the first two port calls. As with all cruise ships, the interior was very shiny and you felt like you were well tended the entire time. Peppa Pig was even on the ship, but Owen didn’t quite know what to do with Peppa being that large. We love how with cruises you are able to see so many destinations in a short time period.
