Allison's 40th Birthday

40! My mom threw an awesome party at her house with all our nearby family.  It was lovely to see everybody and have a yummy lunch.  My mom also got a pinata that the kids loved.  The candy was fairly beat up, but delicious nonetheless. The boys and Damon also made me a delicious cake. 

New York City, New York

We took the train up to NYC for the weekend. The big event was to see the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The boys finished all of the books and were super excited to see the play. Another key destination was the Lego Store.  Owen picked out a cool set and Milton got two custom-made figurines. I was able to get a few NPS stamps which we didn't get last time we came when the kids were little.  It was a bit rainy for one of the days which was unpleasant, but overall a fun trip.
