Halloween 2017

Owen wasn't all that excited about dressing up for Halloween, so we settled with wearing his construction site pajamas.  My dad got some kid-size safety glasses for all the boys out in his wood shop so Owen was somewhat willing to put them on. His class at Ayrlawn had a little party and the school had a parade and pumpkin hunt in the "blue playground" (as Owen calls it). My mom came as well to tend Milton while I was chasing Owen around. I think that perhaps next year Owen will be more receptive to dressing up and going out trick-or-treating.  The evening of Halloween itself we were at the Honda dealership buying the new van. While Rod was visiting we went to Butlers Orchard to get our pumpkins and play at the fall festival corn maze and slides and such.  Owen enjoyed carving the pumpkins and Milton liked watching.
