February was pretty low-key. Owen wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day by drawing little hearts and putting one on each door frame which made me smile every time I would see one. On President's Day, we went to see the 21-gun salute on base that had all the shots in rapid succession so the kids got pretty excited with all the cannon firings. We rode our bikes over with our wonderful neighbors Cynthia and her boys Max and Matt. Owen and Milton are doing great with the school. Pretty much every day after school Owen and several other kids with their younger siblings will play at the playground right by the exit door. It is a pretty fun gang of 8 boys to run around with every day. The base theater did a free showing of the movie Brave and had an archery demonstration before the movie which the kids did for a bit but then Owen wanted to run around and pick all the flowers. Damon and Owen went to an archery class on base but then with that Owen ended up over at the playground after firing a couple times. The kids love going to the pool with Damon and Owen is doing an awesome job swimming around with my old flippers. Milton likes to jump in the pool and yell "bonsai". Milton had a karate class at school he was pretty excited about. My achievement for the month was getting my shark tooth board all finished and framed. We are making progress with the move preparation with getting the application put in for the No-Fee passport.
