The highlight of the month for Owen was being selected as Star Student of the Week. He was selected before the holiday break so we had two weeks to get his poster all done. Owen's class went to one of the Kindergarten classes for them to read to the kids. Owen was pretty excited about reading to the "kinder" kids. Owen has lost another tooth. Milton does really great riding his coaster bike to school and back. Most of our activities of the month were Christmas-related. There is a separate blog post with all the Christmas festivities. I finished up my term on December 11th and was able to get all A's. The class I got an A- was much more of an accomplishment than the other class that I got an A. In the weaker class, I did not get ever get back any feedback on any assignment for the entire term. It was certainly an example of how not to teach. Milton misses his soccer practices on Saturdays but he gets to start back up again in January.
