Sotterley Plantation, Maryland

The Sotterley plantation is an early 18th-century mansion. The grounds have an original slave cabin, a customs warehouse, smokehouse, necessary and corn crib, as well as a formal Colonial Revival garden. The property comprises 95 acres of rolling fields, gardens, and riverfront overlooking the Patuxent River. We got lunch at a nearby crab house that even had a little beach Owen was able to play in.
