The boys are fully enthralled with anything related to Minecraft.  Milton even found a cat and renamed it Kozmo after Grandma Bonny's cat. Owen and Milton are thriving in their classes.  Milton was referred for the advanced class so he is going through the testing for that now.  Owen was pretty excited to make some bread during school.  Probably Owen has been the most proud of getting out of his math support class.  He was not all that impressed with Mr. Allegre eating breakfast every time he was there.  Damon and I went to the Navy Birthday Ball which is always an interesting spectacle in tradition with various toasts.  It was a fun night.  We finally visited the NPS site in Asan which had a neat gun and bunker. Our orchard in Wyoming is very productive and Rod and Ileene harvested some for us to see.  I had no idea we had that many plums.  Halloween was most of our activities which is in a separate post. 

Coastal Cleanup and SandFest

I was able to get our Science Club registered to participate in the 30th annual Coastal Cleanup at Paseo Park. It was a pretty good turnout by not just our Voyagers, but also island-wide.  We also visited the Sand Fest at Ypao Beach.

We finally used our PHR drink vouchers.  We got lunch at the restaurant which was rather tasty and then they had really awseome lemonade which I got about 6 refills throughout the day.

September 2024

Owen and Milton finally agreed to a haircut! Milton likes to have some length to his hair. The Children's Theater put on the Lion King that we went to go see at the University of Guam.  I thought it was fun, but the boys were a smidge unimpressed.  Damon had a successful fishing morning with other dentists from Apra. The boys are doing well in school with their favorite thing to do is play with their legos.  I got my science club kids registered so we could participate in the 30th annual Coastal Cleanup at Paseo Park.  It was a fast turnaround because we finally got back to in-person school on September 3rd and I had to get all the forms signed by the parent/guardians quickly. Milton wanted to be a tank for Halloween so we tried to make one from our grill box.  Our grill from Lejeune totally rusted out so we needed to get a new one.  It is amazing how fast things rust here. We had one day off for Tropical Depression Bebinca.
