The DelFest is a bluegrass festival held yearly in Cumberland, MD. My dad wanted to go so we went in his honor. After being there I don't think he would have liked it all that much. It is mostly for people who want to camp there and party for the weekend. There were a ton of kids around. It was very hot so we didn't stay super long. We saw a couple bands play that was fun to see up close. Owen was most interested in climbing on the bleachers.

Wilmington, Delaware
We drove over to northern Delaware on my quest for NPS stamps. First, we visited the Beaver Valley Woodlawn Tract at Brandywine Creek State Park. It has beautiful tulip poplars and a fun wall that Owen liked running on top. Second, we went to the Old Swedes Church in Wilmington. It was consecrated on Trinity Sunday, June 4, 1699, by a predominantly Swedish congregation formerly of the colony of New Sweden. Lastly, we went to New Castle to see the courthouse and have lunch. We ate at Jessop’s Tavern which served delicious colonial-style food. Owen’s favorite part was the great playground and beach we found just a short walk from where we had lunch.

May 2018
Owen had his International Day concert on May 5.
This month we found out that Colton and Adrienne's baby is a girl. Adrienne put together a fun gender reveal thing with a volcano in my mom's back yard sand pit that the buys had fun playing with.
