July 2021 - Wyoming
Another action-packed summer in Star Valley! We went to Bear Lake, the Cabin, Fossil Butte and the Heber Creeper Train. The water at Bear Lake was so low we had to drive way out on the beach to get to the water. Hard to summarize a summer in words! Damon had his 20th high school reunion, my cousin Kristi got married, Finnegan had his baby blessing, both boys did swim lessons, and lots of playing time with Kaylee and Finnegan. Trent's dad sadly passed awaybut I was grateful that we could be there to support Trent. My mom also came out for a week for Kristi's wedding but then also up to Afton for a bit. We did a hike up to Crystal Lake. Milton is obsessed with pirates and pirate treasure so he got a few more treasure chests. One even got buried in the trench Damon dug for our electrical connection for the garage in lot 46. Owen's birthday was once again at the Meadow and typically when asked when his birthday is he says "in Wyoming". Something we need for Owen to get straight. Damon and I did lots of little projects around the house which will be in a separate post. Damon and Rod did their huge hike to Gannett Peak and did great! Both were relieved to have it finished. Being able to spend so much time with all the Jensen family is such a blessing. Once in Guam it will be barely once per year that we can make that journey back to the mainland. Especially with our terrible experience getting to Guam in the first place. Flying commercial should be less dramatic though. They will probably have better functioning airplanes than the military.
