Month 22

On April 20 I returned from my lovely visit back to MD and WY.  Owen and I had a wonderful time.  The return flight was also in a C-17.  Owen liked being able to stare at everybody else on the flight and all the cargo strapped down in the middle. Owen got to go in Grandpa Rod's airplane and tractor.  Then he went on a train with Grandpa John and Grandma Bonny. Probably a highlight of Owen's trip was going to the Recycling facility up in Rockville, MD.  Owen's favorite toy is water.  He loves bath time and dumping out water from his cups or otherwise moving water from place to place.  Filling the watering cans at my parents house was hours of fun. By the end of the month his words include; mama, dada, outside, wow, nose, ear, baby, banana, ball, door, all done, uh-oh, more, bye bye, up, and yum yum. If we say 'outside' he will go stand by the front door and if we say to go cook he will get the pan and take it to the sink to fill it with water. He will also blow kisses and show off his muscles if we request him to do so.  Granted, he has well informed us that he has a will of his own and will only do things when he wants to.
