I started working! I am teaching 8th grade Earth Science at the nearby public middle school, Jose Rios Middle School.  My first day at school was also my first day teaching so it was a kind of here are your keys and roster - go forth. Trial by fire! I had to take off a week just two weeks after getting started to go on our big trip to South Korea! My last week before starting we made sure to spend some time with friends since our schedule is now a lot tighter.  The boys love going to SAC before and after school.  Driving into work is my time window to talk with my mom so it is good we can get in touch regularly.  We also celebrated Milton's 6th birthday and we are so proud to have our little Milton getting older.  This year we did a more conventional party at the bowling alley instead of the (somewhat lackluster) picnic shelter next to the library.  

Pagat Cave

Pagat Cave is down a steep mountainside.  It is the same geological structure as with 1000 Steps on the east side of the island.  The cave water was very warm and it was a refreshing stop after the hot hike.  Having headlamps or flashlights is a must.  Our flashlights were not being all that reliable so we didn't stay down in the cave too long.
