They have begun to fill in the basement. and the back fill for around the house.

This is the front of the house looking towards our neighbor's house.

This is the gravel filled in basement.  The pipes on the right side is the plumbing for the bathroom and the wires in the middle is for the utility room.

These are the window wells for the basement windows on the south side of the house.  The center window is for the basement.

This is the garage.

Basement Sealing

The basement sealant is put on and also the plumbing laid for the eventual basement bathroom and utility room drain. The gravel is also in the hole to pour the basement concrete base.

The visible pipes coming out of the ground are the plumbing pipes for the basement bathroom.

The white thing right above the basement bathroom window is the window well for the 4' x 4' egress windows for the basement bedroom window and the main room window. 

This is the main room window with the utility room drain in the middle.

Basement Framing

Today they are working on framing up the walls of the basement to pour in the concrete foundation.

There was a peaceful subdivision called Rockbridge

We are proud to announce the construction of our long-planned house has begun.  Here is a picture showing the floorplan of the house design we have worked out over the past year.

Construction began in June with the topsoil being pushed out of the way to start digging for the basement.

Then they brought in the big equipment to dig the big hole and connect the utilities from the street.
