Milton's Baptism and 8th Birthday

Milton's 8th birthday and baptism! Milton got to have his baptism in the ocean just 5 minutes from our house.  This is the same beach where Damon and Owen did their dive tests.  The cliffside in the background is where Damon had his promotion ceremony last year. One of the best parts of Milton's baptism was that we got to have a Zoom call with family from 6,000+ miles away. Milton's guest list included Palmers in Maryland, Utah, and Arizona and then Jensens and Parsons in Wyoming.  Owen did the talk about baptism and the holy ghost.  He compared the Holy Ghost to a compass and that if there are magnets, the compass can't show the correct direction.  His other comparison was the holy ghost being like glasses to help better see the way.  Milton's confirmation was given by Damon and the members of the ward that Damon works with at the hospital. Refreshments included Sunkist and chips.  A perfectly Milton event.  We are so proud of him for deciding to get baptized. 

Milton's party was at the Onward Waterpark.  He has been so excited about the party since his birthday was even on his planning radar screen. Minecraft theme, obviously. He invited his classmates and then a few friends from SAC and some of our neighbors.  It was a good turnout and Milton had so much fun playing with all his friends.  Milton and Owen both love the wave pool where rentals are available for surfboards so that the kids can all catch a wave.  There is a lifeguard there that helps each kid push off at just the right time.
