We were able to go on some hikes this month since my classes were off until the end of the month. It was a nice break to have before the straight 3 terms until the summer. Owen's highlight of the month was being selected as Star of the Week before the break. He got to do his presentation in January once classes started back up. He presented a poster all about him, then read a letter from Rod, shared some family pictures, his favorite book, and showed his skill of train track building. He was very excited to share and did fantastic presenting to the class, no surprise. He is keeping up with his piano lessons and making a lot of progress. He is almost all done with the first book. Milton was excited to start back up his soccer team on Saturdays. His big accomplishment is that he can now ride his pedal bike! He is a super little biker. Milton is a great hiker too and Damon took him out to Priest's Pools and he did the whole hike without any assistance. Both boys are loving school and make lots of friends. Most evenings they end up at the playground a couple houses down with some of the other kids in the neighborhood. Damon is loving going diving and has been working on a bunch of different advanced diver classes.
