Rocks Before and After

Damon spent pretty much all his time in Wyoming picking rocks out of our yard.  Needless to say, referring to the subdivision as "Rockbridge" is very fitting.

This is the area behind the garage.

Here is the back yard.

This is the front yard.  Most of the swale is filled in, but that soil will settle more as time goes on so we will most likely be getting more fill in there to smooth it all out.

Here is the garage and front of the house.  Damon really did an amazing job picking all those rocks.  It was some hard work!

Here are the window wells.  There were some pretty big rocks out in the front yard! The sides of the window wells were filled with gravel.

This pile was a couple truck loads that he took down to the Meadow.

This pile is on Lot 46.  One of our neighbors wants some to fill in an area he has on his yard, but most of the rocks will go towards an irrigation ditch project at the Meadow. This tractor was well used during the great rock migration.  He would fill up the bucket with the large rocks. Then rake the same area to pick out the smaller rocks and the smaller rocks would go down into the swale.

The full rock pile.
