March 2025

The most important event of March was Milton's baptism and birthday! They were both very successful events and fun was had by all.  Owen and Damon are loving being each other's dive buddies and they can go out on the boat dives whenever Damon isn't on call.  Owen had a classmate's birthday party at the base pool, which was perfect timing because the pool was closing the next day for several months to undergo repairs, so that was our last chance to go to the pool. It is coming to that time of a duty station where we start all of our 'lasts'.  Owen had his final science fair presentation about his "Penny Passengers." His project slides and speech for the judges are in the pictures below. March finished up with us leaving for our trip to Australia for the boys' spring break which is in a separate post. Owen is continuing to thrive in doing his segments during the morning announcements. His segment is "Crazy But True" but he will also sometimes cover the "GRIT" segment in case that person doesn't come in during the recording time. Owen really loves being part of the Seahawk News.
