Milton was a squid and Owen was sporting a blue tuxedo. The tuxedo is technically from the movie Dumb & Dumber, but all that Owen cared about was the top hat and looking super spiffy. Damon sported his expected Forest Gump. I was going to wear my Miss Frizzle dress but a seam at the back totally ripped out! Sewing it back together would have made it too tight for me to squeeze in to. I will have to order a new one for next year a size up. I was able to break out my pumpkin sweater that worked out well. It is just so strange going out trick or treating and getting excessively hot. Owen only made it a few streets and wanted to head home and then Milton took off his costume entirely. The boys didn't quite get the concept of getting as much candy as possible so we don't have all that much. It was fun seeing so many of my students walking around. It seems that the 6th grade has a booming population in Lockwood. We went around with our neighbors Amanda and Andy with Chuck which always makes Halloween more fun. A cool thing making a Guam halloween unique was that there was an amazing rainbow. We also did a Truck or Treat at the church and another one at the fitness center on base. The one at the fitness center had a haunted house too which the boys did well with. Ileene got the boys adorable ceramic pumpkins with their name which Milton managed to break his pumpkin the day after getting it. Another fun thing that Milton got to do was wear a costume to school with a poster representing a letter. He wore his fireman jacket and made a poster with the letter F. Kindergarten did a parade around the school which I didn't find out about until it was already over which was a bummer. Thankfully Milton's teacher took a picture of Milton sporting his costume with Owen.
