Umatac to To'guan Bay
This was a 1.2 mile hike between the town of Umatac an To'guan Bay. It felt like a million miles. While our hike book advertised it as a "easy walk along the scenic coastline" our experience was the opposite. Hiking in the rainy season is becoming more and more evident that it is impossible. Our hike was all along sharp slippery rocks. No sand was there since some storms came through and must have pulled it away. Damon did find the one grassy patch we took a break which was nice. The kids did well, but definitely one we won't do again. We parked the van on one end and then Damon's on the other. The kids' favorite part was riding in his car back to the van. Since his car is Japanese the drivers side is on the right so Owen got to sit on the left side of the car. Then Milton and I were in the back seat/trunk.
