The Coastal Plains Dragway is a 1/8 mile National Hotrod Association (NHRA) dragstrip with an option to run 1/4 mile just 30 minutes from our house. In the same property is a NASCAR-style racetrack that we are going to see one of their races too. It was really cool to get to see all the cars and drivers. I have been wanting to see these races since we drive by the track whenever we are going north out of Jacksonville. There was a huge variety of vehicles all racing against each other and I really had no clue what each of the classes meant. All of the people were super nice and the kids liked seeing the cool cars.
