November 2023

Damon got his self-reliant diver certification.  His final dive was at the beach just near our house. There was a craft fair at the Top O' the Mar conference rooms.  I found a nice bedside lamp for my nightstand and more importantly, Milton found a cash grab game.  He and Owen had a pretty good technique that would gather a fair amount of money. We finally made it to the Latte of Freedom since it is only open during weekday business hours.  Milton lost another tooth! This kid is cranking those teeth out. Owen helps with the grocery shopping and I took a picture of one of his lists - note the fourth item and the icing on the cake - a city scene.  Thanksgiving this year was just us and a lag-less turkey.  Our neighbor Chuck was over in the afternoon just playing so she was our photographer with our Thanksgiving meal. That afternoon we got our Christmas tree on base.  Probably one of my favorite Guam Christmas events is the coconut painting. We also made it to the Inalahan swimming pools since they re-opened after a huge renovation project.  Milton liked the sign. I am continuing my Guam Educational History class at UOG, which will be done in December.  The boys are doing great at school.  My students are doing well and Damon is taking out lots of teeth. Life is good.
