Our first full month of school. The boys are continuing to do awesome with school. They go to morning and afternoon SAC where they have lots of friends to play with. Owen has his weekly spelling tests which take a lot of studying. Milton has a folder of work for the week and wants to finish it all in one night. Most importantly, they are happy going to school. Milton has started piano lessons with the same teacher as Owen and they are having fun with their lessons. It can be difficult to find a reliable teacher. The boys' teacher is at an excellent location for Owen and Milton to just ride their bikes over. I participated in the Guam Coastal Cleanup with my other science teachers and our students. I arrived a bit late and then there was apparently a cleanup at the same location the weekend prior so there wasn't all that much trash to pick up anyway. I got to see some of my students from last year too which was fun. The boys selected and then their Halloween costumes arrived. Both love sporting round in their costumes so might as well some use out of the costumes instead of just wearing for one day. MWR put on a fun Labor Day event at Clipper Landing. We rode over on our bikes. A fun ride down, but then a steep hill to ride back up. The boys do really well biking around. We had another earthquake that Damon and I both felt! It was during dinnertime so we were sitting still.
