We had a couple Mondays off so we went to the Nikko and Sheraton pools. Owen got new glasses that tint grey when exposed to UV light. His prescription sunglasses were lost at school so he needed new sunglasses then he had a change in prescription anyway. These are bigger than his prior black frames, but the dark blue looks good. Owen took his piano book to his music class at school and did a performance for his class. He was pretty excited to perform and the music teacher wrote a nice thank you note. I found a replacement lampshade for the lamp I had since I was a kid. The shade had been on its last leg for a while since Owen decided to poke out all the cut-outs when he was little. Then this move the lampshade got totally crushed. The entire electrical socket got ripped off when the movers were trying to remove the shade so I was able to make that repair as well. A wonderfully Guam Valentines Day card is " I Carabao You". Milton and Owen are both continuing to do well at school. My classes went well too. Damon is doing more dives and did a night dive one evening. The winds have been really great here making it not feel as hot. And hardly any rain. There are a lot of fires though in the forest one day we had ash landing all over our yard. The time to visit Guam is definitely in the early part of the year. When we got here our incredibly wet introduction to island life was rough.
