June held many goodbyes, but we still had a lot of fun. Milton's class had an end-of-year party at a nearby park. Milton was awarded the Mr. Goodbar Award for being a good friend to everyone from his teachers. He did such a fantastic job this year connecting with his teachers, making friends, and learning so much. We will really miss Ms. Jefferson and Ms. Darline. This month the family welcomed Finnegan!!! He was born on Ileene's birthday! I finished the triangle quilt for Abby so I could take it up to Bethesda. Owen had a writing piece selected for being in the collection "let your light shine" sponsored by the Onslow-Lejeune Reading Council. He also had a piano recital scheduled, but it got canceled by the teacher because she hurt her back. Owen had Twinkle Twinkle Little Star memorized. I have videos of him playing it just at home. Saying goodbye to our gang of boys and all the moms was really sad. I've really enjoyed getting to know all the wonderful boy-mom ladies; Cynthia, Natalia, Becca, Christine, and Jessica. The boys became such good friends and played so well together.
