Month 19

This was the month of the runny/snotty nose.  We probably went through 3 or 4 tissue boxes and the double-wide has a lovely coating donated from Owen. The beginning of the month we went to Austria where it was cold cold cold.  Owen did okay with the cold, we spent as much time as possible inside museums of other heated areas. Owen's words include mama, dada, bye bye, baby, ball, up, nah (no), bus, and nanana (banana).  He loves Sesame Street and if he finds the iPad he will turn it on all by himself.  It has gotten so that I have to hide the iPad during the day.  He can stack 8 blocks and throw a ball.  He still loves his kitchen and getting the broom or mop out to drag around.  He can identify his nose, ears, chin, cheek, belly button, elbow, toes, and knee. He loves fresh strawberries, avocado, and any cheese.  In the evening we go for a 'walkabout' where we let Owen free to walk wherever he would like in Rota.  He goes down to the beach and rolls around in the sand, pushes on the foot rinser out on the boardwalk (and gets drenched), walks around the rim of the water fountain, any stairs, and any object really that he can climb upon.  I had a week solo where Damon went to Texas for a training that was tough for me.  Owen got a couple hours per day over at daycare and he loved it.  He loves playing with the other kids and the teachers.

Making meat, rice, and corn.

Our longest nap on record - 4 hours

Double-handed oreoing

Nothing significant here, just a peak in the daily excitement of being an Owen.

Owen got his tub out of the bathroom.

So tired after dinner.

This is 30 minutes of an O-nado.

Lagos Portugal hotel.  Owen loves playing on the bed.
